SoccerGround, the Original DFB-Mini Pitch.
Built 1000 times, played on 100,000 times – and every time a winner.

Minispielfeld Lohmar

“When I think of soccer, I think of warm, sunny afternoons in the cool, grassy hollow opposite my parents’ house, something
like a park, where, on one such afternoon, I scored a rare hat trick – unusually for me, as I was a defender, an old-fashioned
centre half.

And between the ages of six and ten, my instep was permanently black and blue from kicking the hard river pebbles which
served as our footballs in the schoolyard as we aimed for goals marked with worn-out jumpers. That’s such a long time ago.”

But now is now, and now is different. Now the game is played on mini soccer fields.  SoccerGround is now. SoccerGround
is fast. SoccerGround is played with rebound boards. 266 square metres of pure football. Not kicking around tin cans, pebbles
from the river or anything else.

This is still very much soccer where it belongs, where the kids are, teenagers, players of all ages. The game is everything.
And the game is everywhere! One thousand times in Germany.

Sponsored, donated, licensed and presented by the DFB as the “1000 mini soccer fields“ project. The second official mini
soccer field after the normal size pitch.

Be a part of it.
It is more than a game: it is playing the game!
